Where was Mikey Williams Born?

Mikey Williams was born on 26 June 2004 in San Diego, California, USA. He holds an American nationality and belongs to the Afro-American ethnicity. He was born to parents – Charisse and Mahlon Williams. Both his parents are former athletes. His father, Mahlon, played basketball for Sweetwater High School and his mother played softball for Kearny High School and Hampton University.

Mikey is currently attending Lake Norman Christian School in Huntersville, North Carolina.

Net Worth and Salary

Mikey started playing basketball from an early age under the guidance of his parents. He used to play on an outdoor court in his apartment. However, his childhood was not good as expected as he was often involved in fights and bullies. Later, he tried to avoid those conflicts and started to focus on basketball to pursue a career in the sport. In middle school, he played for the Malcolm Thomas All-Stars travel team.

Mikey was ranked the number one player in the 2023 class by the Naismith National Youth All-American Report. Later, he joined the North Coast Blue Chips Amateur Athletic Union (AAU) team alongside Bronny James, the son of a basketball player, LeBron James. In 2019, he made his high school debut in San Ysidro High School in San Diego.

On 13 December, Mikey made his career record 77 points win over Kearny High School and broke the CIF San Diego Section single-game scoring record. Moreover, he was named MaxPreps National Freshman of the Year. Later, he was transferred to Lake Norman Christian School, entering his sophomore season.

Mikey is considered a five-star recruit and a top-five player in the 2023 class by ESPN, Rivals, and 247Sports. He has also received offers from several basketball programs such as NCAA Division I programs, including Arizona and Arizona State, and historically black colleges and universities (HBCU).

Mikey has not yet started his professional career. But he hopes to be selected in the NBA draft soon. Considering his progress, he’ll likely come out as a star in the coming days. As high school games don’t pay the players, he hasn’t yet started earning money. So, the talk related to his income and salary doesn’t have any worth until he becomes a professional player. However, some wiki sites estimated his net worth at $200 thousand.

Relationship Status: Dating Someone?

Mikey is apparently single as he has not been romantically linked with anyone, at least in the public eye.  He was previously in an alleged relationship with a fellow basketball player, Serenity Johnson. But the two have already split and went their separate ways.

In September 2020, Mikey asked his fans to leave him alone and revealed that he has a girlfriend. However, he didn’t mention any name, leaving his fans to wonder who his girlfriend might be. It seems the basketball star is dating someone in secret.
